Happy Valentines Day.............Everyone

Hope you all are having a happy valentine's day. I worked last night and will work tonight and my hubby is working 1-10 including drive time. So we aren't doing hardly anything. We went out and ate at lunchtime at a mexican food place called, Ta Molly.....no, not joking........and it was wonderful. So If you see one go and eat there. Great restaurant.

Also, sorry I haven't been on. Had my 2 days off with my hubby. The first day we went and did our taxes and we got that house credit they have all been talking about. You do end up paying it back (unless something changes with it) but it's going to help us out a lot in the long run. We got ourselves a new bed. It has a double thick pillowtop and is a king size. The fitted sheets have to be for a 15 to 17 inch deep mattress. We got the shorter bed frame but I still have to hop to get on the bed.....haha. I hate being short. But I LOVE it. I'm sleeping like a baby. I'm actually getting some sleep. Jose's got to adjust to it a little I think. He usually sleeps about 10hrs or more. I don't think he ever gets a good nights sleep though. But with this bed he sleeps good but gets up sooner and says he feels like he'd slept forever. I think it's more quality than quantity sleep we are getting now. And I love that it's so soft. Did I say I love my new bed. My puppies love it too. I woke up the other morning to find them both sprawn out upside down sound asleep. Such spoiled little pups I have. Funny thing is that my hubby didn't even want them sleeping with us anymore and guess what.....................they still are. I don't think he could throw them out anymore than I can. Also, the bed is really quite warm. Not sure how to explain it but even if its cold in the room, once I get in the bed and pull the covers over me, I get all warm and fuzzy. True. You're not only warm from the covers but the bed too. But don't ask me what kind of bed it is because I was asleep that day when we ordered it or shall I say sleep-walking and I can't remember. I'll have to look at the paperwork or the tag and let you know.


I made a page using my Seashore Wedding kit again. This time I colored the papers, pearls and flowers red. Trying to match Jose's shirt. I also used Gingers quote wordart but had to change it a little. For the word Someday I had to use another font because I didn't have the font that she used and it wouldn't come up. So I had to change it a little but only in that way.

I also made a page using my Chocolate Decadence kit.
And I'm also going to give you a quick page that I made from it.

This is my Shaylee today, holding her little stuffed bear that she got for Valentines. She ended up stealing JoJo's too. Also I got them some little valentine dog treats from Walmart that were really cute. They said Honey's Bakery on them and had a photo of a golden retriever.n Shaylee loved them but my JoJo just played with his. I think he finally ate one. ON the box of treats it said they were gourmet treats for the discriminating dog. Perfect for my little ones, they are so picky. I'm thinking of making them add-on's for shaylee and jojo's kits. They were so cute.

Clocks from ArtsCow.

I got some clocks a while back from ArtsCow. I ordered 3 of them. One I put that photo of the cardinal that I took, another one I put Shaylees photo from the first snow photos and the last one I put JoJo also from the first snow photos. My husband accidentally broke the one that I put Shaylee on but it is still useable. It just chipped off the edge. But I'm gonna show you the other 2.


This clock is in our bathroom. I chose the silver frame for the clock because I thought it would compliment JoJo's hair and give it a wintery look. This clock is hanging over the door so I had a hard time getting a good angle to take the photo of the clock. But the clock looks great.

This one I put in the kitchen. We watch the birds outside thru our french doors and I thought it would go good in there. This is actually my favorite one. Love the cardinal with the black frame of the clock.


I finally got my wedding photobook. It came 3 days ago. It is great. I didn't get the bleeding quite right though. I have white lines along the bottoms of all the pages and the covers. Gotta get that bleed thing down.

Roses are Red---------------More Rose Papers

Hi Everyone,

We went and did our taxes today. Yeah! We've decided to get a new bed. We found one with 2 pillow tops that are thick and also has that foam too. Very comfortable. We did the credit thing with them to help make our credit better. It's not bad but it helps anyway. We'll probably pay most of it off when the income tax comes in which will be in about 2 weeks. They are delivering it Wednesday and we will be sleeping like babies. I am so excited.

I have to go to bed now. Haven't slept all day. Been up since midnight. So here is another portion to the Roses are Red kit. They are more rose papers but with only a single rose.

I took this photo which originally looked like this. I uses a Sony Mavica that was only a 1 megapixal camera. But it is still one of my favorite closeups that I have taken.

So I made these papers using this photo.

Shaylee's Puppy Label Tags....................

Hi everyone,

I have added more stuff to the store. They are chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels. I know that I made this kit before but I am redoing it. I've learned alot since I made this kit and I think/hope I am making it a lot better. I added grab bags to the store so you can get the strawberries separately. I can't decide if I only want to put a few in the whole kit or all of them. They files are big and I've been told that you don't like lots of downloads so I'm still deciding on that. I may just include a few from each grab bag so there will be some in the kit or not. Still pondering.

As promised, I made these puppy tags for shaylee's kit. They are just normal label tags that match the kit. But you can put a lot of journaling on them.

Layouts using Shaylee and JoJo Puppy kits.

I just wanted to quickly show you 2 pages I made using JoJo's and Shaylee's kits.

I made this page of my JoJo using his Puppy kit.
It didn't dawn on me that I never made frames for his kit.
So later I will be giving those frames to you as a freebie.

I swear everytime I take his photo his tongue is like that. It's too cute.

I made the page below using my Shaylee Puppy kit. Isn't it cute.

I've also made more label tags to go with this kit that I will be giving to you too. They are like the one in the above layout (at bottom) except pink and purple.

Guess I should have made quick pages out of these but I didn't think about it at the time.
